GM Electro-Motive 45-Ton Locomotive
remanufactured in 1986 by Republic Locomotive Works, Incorporated which gave the serial number USMC-279669. It has 2 diesel/electric engines both by Cummins 1986 model N855P with serial numbers 30124105 and 30124106; each with 6 cylinders and 235-HP at 2100-RPM. The locomotive has a controller operation panel marked GM Electro-Motive with part number 9091052 and serial number 85E-6. The meters indicate (for engine 1) 2,013 and (for engine 2) 1,976 hours of operation. The locomotive is equipped with heater and has batteries. The gross vehicle weight is approximately 100,000 lbs. This vehicle is buyer load. GL will not help load. Customer is responsible to notify site as to how they will be loading out the item. If customer wants to use the railway they have to coordinate with the respective parties.
