Other Tire Industry Equipment - 48” Entoleter/ AlSteel Granulator: T0198 & or T0199. These machines have been completely refurbished and are presently better than new because we have beefed up many of the areas where we had noticed that wear was occurring. These areas were all welded back up to standard and then these areas have all been hard-faced with Stoody build up wire to slow down the wear in these areas in the future. The rotors on these machines were also hard-faced to cut down on the wear areas and we have also installed larger diameter bolt holes that hold all the fly knives in place. We had each knife holder on the rotors planed and squared up to make sure that all the fly knifes were held in place properly. We also had both of the rotors sent off and professionally balanced to make sure they operate with as little vibration as possible. We put new bearings on the shafts when we installed the rotors back in the machine. Also both of the bed knife holders were sent in and completely refurbished by a professional machine shop where they drilled out and inserted each of the existing bolt holes with new fine thread bolt holes. Also each of these bed knife holders were welded up and planed off to make sure that all the bed knives were mounted properly. All brand new knives were installed back in these machines both bed & fly knives. When you purchase these machines you will get a complete set of re-sharpened used knives with the machines as well. In addition we have several other spare wear parts that will go with these machines. These machines also have hydraulic folding hoppers and screen holders for easy access for making knife changes and screen changes. They also have water cooled jackets around the cutting chambers to allow them to operate cooler. These machines are powered by 250 H.P. electric motors and we will furnish with them brand new soft starts. These machines would work ideally for the processing of 1”-3/4” rubber chips down to 3/8”- ¼” rubber particles. We would estimate that these machines would each process around 3500-4,000 lbs per hour of this size material. This is an excellent matched pair of machines that are both ready to go to work. Other Tire Industry Equipment - Bulk Handling Systems Rotary Disc Screen Classifier- T-01120. We just completely refurbished this machine and it has basically been made new again. And in fact some of it is better than it was shipped from the factory new because we built our daisy wheel disc out of 3/8” thick AR 400 plate instead of the ¼” that they used when it was originally manufactured. We also used much thicker walled tubing for each of our spools than were used originally from the factory. We have installed new shafts, new bearings, new sprockets, and new chains and have put all new grease lines on the machine. The machine is powered by a 3 H.P electric motor which we just purchase new as well. This unit is 42” wide and has thirteen spools and is currently set up to produce a 2” nominal size product. This machine would work well for someone who needs to make a 2” TDF size product as we has used them in numerous systems that we have built over the years. We just completely refurbished this machine and it was only test ran for around 20 hours by the customer who was looking at purchasing the machine from us. It would not process super single semi tires so he decided to not purchase the machine. So the machine is the same as new with only a few places where the paint has been scratched. This machine will accept tires from 14” passenger size up through 11.00 X 24.5 semi truck size tires. This machine is designed to bagel cut these tires as well as cut them into quarters or even more pieces by making adjustments to how long you want the length of pieces to be. The machine is also equipment with a tire lift which makes loading the tires much easier. The machine has several safety devices to protect the operator of the machine. This machine is powered by a 30 H.P. electric motor and the machine has a brand new hydraulic motor on the bagel cutting part of the machine. This machine would work well for someone who needs to cut his tires but don’t have the capital to purchase a shredder. This machine should allow you to meet all the current regulations that most states have for land filling tires. Other Tire Industry Equipment - Two Model 50H Cumberland Granulators- T01115. These Cumberland 50H granulators have been completely rebuilt and are ready to go to work. There has been hard facing put on the wear areas, and the knives have been sent off and sharpened. They have an open rotor design, with 25 fly knives and 4 bed knives. We also put new bearings on these rotors. We inserted many of the bolt holes on these machines because several of the holes didn’t want to tighten up properly. These Granulators will be powered by a 250 H.P. electric motor and they will have new soft starts. The throat opening on these machines is 20 inches by 50 inches. The 50H will process rubber, ¾” tire chips, plastics, purgings, and many other materials at a rate of 3500 to 4000 pounds an hour per machine down to ¼” in size. These machines come with the stand, hood, hopper, guards and shields, motor and electric control panel. Other Tire Industry Equipment - Columbus McKinnon Tire Chipper Shredder: T-0183. This CM Chipper is a great machine for taking preshredded tires and taking them down to a marketable material. We have completely refurbished this machine, including installing new hardened rotors. The rotors are made out of a heat treated 4140 material, rather than the mild steel they are usually built with. We have done this so that when a knife comes off while the machine is in operation and you don’t catch it immediately you shouldn’t harm your knife seats near as easily. In addition this rotor has a multi-stack rotor design meaning it has 1.9, 1.8, and 1.7 knife seats. This allows a knife to be used 3 times instead of just one time, greatly reducing your maintenance costs. In addition we have beefed up the torque on this machine by installing a 250 H.P. electric motor with a soft start. This machine is ready to go to work with any primary shredder to give you a high volume processing line.

Other Tire Industry Equipment - Columbus McKinnon Super Classifier: T-01100. We recently have completely refurbished this machine and it should be ready to operate for an extended period of time. We have replaced all the daisy wheels with new 3/8” thick AR 400 segments. We have replaced all the pillow block bearings with new greaseable type bearings instead of the sealed bearings that the machine was originally shipped with. We did this because many of the sealed bearings had failed and we think the greaseable type bearings will last much longer. We installed all new grease lines on these bearings and have hooked them up to four grease blocks for easy central lubrication points. We have also put all new sprockets on as well as all the drive chains for these sprockets. This screen is currently set up to produce a 1 ½” and above size product off the top deck and a 1 ½” by 1” product off the second deck and the other product that will be produced is a 1” minus product. This screen has a very large screening area with over 90 sq. feet. This allows this screen to have a very large capacity. This machine is driven by twin 5 H.P. electric motors that drive the two individual decks.

Other Tire Industry Equipment - Tire Wire Baler: T01101. We just finished checking this machine over in our shop and made several improvements to enhance the operation of the unit. We test ran the machine and produced several bales and after getting it properly adjusted we were able to make a very consistent size and weight bale. Note: the bales we were producing were 10” X 10” X 13” in size and weighed 30 lbs. Of course this will vary with the amount of rubber you have in your wire as well as the size wire you are trying to bale. This machine works and performs the same job as the Wendt tire wire balers that sell for over $200,000. Of course it’s not as automated but in the end you can produce a bale that is very comparable to the ones produced by the Wendt baler. Although it may be a little more labor intensive to operate, this machine offers a tremendous savings over purchasing a new machine to make the same or very similar sized bale. This machine is powered by a 25 H.P. electric motor that drives the hydraulic pumps and everything is then operated hydraulically through electrical pressure valves and relays. This unit comes complete with all the electrical controls needed to operate.

Other Tire Industry Equipment - Granutech/ Saturn Model 80 Grizzly System: T-01112. We just finished refurbishing this machine and painted it. It is ready to be installed into your plant and producing 1” to 1/2” minus tire chips. This machine has had the 300 H.P. electric motor rebuilt, the gear box rebuilt, and had the rotor completely hard faced and all the knife seats rebuilt and we also had the rotor balanced to assure proper operation. We have installed new fly and bed knives and also installed new bearings on the rotor, as well as new ¾ inch screens. We have replaced many of the wear plates and put a new tilt cylinder on the hood. This system has everything you need to put this after a 2 inch chip system, including an infeed conveyor, the Grizzly, a vibratory discharge conveyor, outfeed conveyor, crossbelt magnet and an aspiration system. The machine has a 500 Amp disconnect and a soft start and all the controls. This is a very high production machine and it is the best machine on the market today used to remove up to 90-95% of the steel from your tires while reducing the 2” x 2” size tire chips down to ½” or less in size. These machines are the work horse of today’s tire processing industry and are built much more robust than most of their competition. You won’t find a nicer used machine on the market today!

Triple S has been making high quality processing equipment for many years, and the Segmentizer is a robust machine that does a great job of preshredding tires. Other Tire Industry Equipment - Cracker mill, 32” Double Roll - T01103. This is one of the cleanest cracker mills that you will ever find. We can’t find the brand name of this machine anywhere on the machine. It is currently mounted on a heavy duty steel frame so that it can be easily moved from one spot to another unlike most of these machines which are very time consuming to move from one spot to another. This machine is powered by a new 300 H.P. 1750 rpm electric motor and is coupled to a very heavy duty gear box that has a ratio of 29 to 1. So the main shaft in the mill is running at 60 rpm and then it is driving the other shaft at 141 rpm so it has a 2.36 to 1 ratio. The rolls on this mill look like brand new and are 32” wide and have a diameter of around 24”. This machine came out of a shop where it was still being operated and it looks ready to be powered back up in your shop with minimal amount of work because of the way the machine is mounted on the steel frames. This machine comes with a new soft start and a reconditioned control panel. This machine would work ideally for taking ¾” size tire chips down to ¼” mulch at around 4,000-5,000 lbs per hour, or it would also produce a 10 mesh product at around 2,000-2,500 lbs per hour. Of course you would need some screw augers and a Rotex screen, magnets, and some aspiration equipment to put with this mill in order to achieve these results and of course these would be at additional costs.
