Founded in 1948, the National Glass Association (NGA) has evolved into the largest trade association specifically for the North American flat glass industry. NGA represents the architectural, automotive and specialty glass segments of the industry. NGA effectively achieves this representation by promoting safety and ethics and by providing information, education, related business services and a forum for education and ideas exchange.
Held each spring, The NGA Show(TM), 'America's Glass Expo' is the largest trade show for the glass industry in the Americas. Each year, thousands of people attend this show and corresponding convention seminars.
NGA represents the glass distribution chain in its entirety: primary flat glass manufacturers, fabricators, wholesale distributors, contractors, retailers and related industry suppliers. NGA meets the needs of each of our members in different ways. Information disbursement - providing services, education and data - tracking legislation and public awareness are different for each part of the chain.
NGA is home to the Glass Management Institute, Auto Glass Certification Program, Glazier Certification Program and the new Auto Glass Repair Certification program, currently in development.
