Hogzilla makes a very heavy duty, high production machine, and this machine is no exception. It is a 2001 Model 1564 with a brand new Tire Grinding option that has just been installed, and it can process 12-15 ton per hour of 2 rubber chips. The Hogzilla is powered by a 1000 hp Cat engine that had a major rebuild done on it in 2006. There is a magnetic head pulley on the discharge conveyor to recover the steel from the tires. This is a 48 inch wide flat belt conveyor with 2 1/2 sides on the belt. This conveyor is 62 feet long and has a stainless steel section in it for a cross belt magnet. This picking conveyor currently has 5 feet legs under it that could be modified to be either higher or lower depending on the end users preference or requirements. This picking conveyor comes complete with 6 picking stations that are 6 feet wide and currently set up to pick off the conveyor being mounted at 5 feet tall. This unit also has 2 other picking stations that are only 3 feet wide and that are set up to pick off the conveyor being mounted at 5 feet tall. Of course these could also be modified to different heights should the end user choose to set the picking conveyor up at a different height than it currently is designed to operate.
This is a factory built system that is in very nice condition and would work ideally for the sorting of many different types of materials. It would of course work well to be used in the manual sorting of MSW that many solid waste districts and municipalities have begun performing. The conveyor is being powered by a 3 H.P. electric motor that can of also be made to operate as a variable speed conveyor. Unit has been operating in an e-waste plant and does have a 48 electro self cleaning magnet that could go with this conveyor for an additional $12,500.
