This 2001 horizontal grinder is built to do a lot of work in a short amount of time. A 1000 hp CAT Diesel engine powers this large portable wood hog. The engine has been completely gone through by CAT and has less than 2000 hours on rebuild. Unit has remote and cable controls. All hydraulic motors & pumps have been replaced or rebuilt and have less than 1000 hours. New sides, floor, and pan in feeder and new grates have been installed (all with less than 1000 hours). Unit has all new wearplates. Metal on stacking and belly conveyors have been reinforced. Mill bearing has about 1500 hours. Outfeed conveyor has tail pulley magnet. Needs paint, but could be negotiated in the deal. Owner reports that this grinder will process up to 90 ton yard waste per hour.

This unit was recently removed from a sawmill where it was being used to grind wood waste to boiler fuel for several large industrial customers. This grinder has a very large capacity and would work well in the grinding of whole pallets because it has a top opening size of 27 X 52. This grinder is powered by a 200 H.P. electric motor that operates at 1200 RPM and uses 460 voltage for its power. The electric motor is direct coupled to the grinder through a shear coupler to prevent damage from being done to the grinder. This machine is equipped with a bar type screen that determines the size material the machine is going to produce. Of course this screen can be changed to achieve many different size materials being produced from the same machine. This machine comes with a size # 6 motor starter and 600 amp breaker which are enclosed in a large free standing electrical cabinet. This is a very nice clean unit and would work ideally for many grinding applications.

This 1994 (they believe) Scarab self-propelled compost turner originally came with a 400hp Cummins Big Cam III Diesel engine. The engine was replaced by current owners to facilitate installation of higher horsepower CAT 3406 Diesel engine. Both engines will come with the unit as well as a spare main pump and spare pair of 23.1x26 Firestone drive tires. Unit was purchased to compost municipal sludge and was used very little. Rotor and flails are in very good condition.

A very nice used 48 self cleaning Electro Magnet that came out of an e-waste system we recently purchased. This unit comes complete with supporting stand and all the electrical control panels. This magnet would work well in the processing or sorting of any ferrous metals from any other types of materials. This magnet was manufactured in Mexico but so was my Chevrolet Suburban that I drive daily. This magnet would work great in the tire processing industry as well as many other applications.
