The name "Ovalstrapping" originated from a unique wire process we developed that utilized an oval shaped wire with a high degree of strength. The oval shape, having a minor axis similar to flat steel strapping, offered less resistance in conforming to the shape of the package than round wire. Yet it still offered the economics of wire as opposed to flat steel strapping.
Ovalstrapping has a wide range of equipment and we are able to serve a variety of customers from newspapers to binderies, the meat and poultry industry, the postal service, food industries, woodworking industry, and the pulp and paper mills. In fact we are able to serve practically any industry that could benefit from the use of wire or plastic strap. Our in-house engineering department allows us to meet the specific needs of our customers.
