United (UWWS) processes and recycles a full range of non-hazardous industrial and other waste. They include waste water, ink and paint washwater, sludges, high metal streams, used oils, graphite streams, adhesive streams, and other various non-haz streams.
United was the first oil recycler to become ISO 14000 certified. We are also a member of NORA and the EPA Performance Achievment Track.
The United Resource Mangement division is the recycling arm of the company and offers many waste / material recycling and reuse opportunities.
United also has a beneficial re-use program for spent solvents. United is able to take these solvents in as a product, not as a hazardous waste.
United also runs a state of the art drum mangement facility where thousands of non-haz drumed waste are processed or recycled daily.
UWWS has its own transportation division in which it maintains and operates over 30 trucks and tankers.
The SRS side of United offers on-site or off-site purification of metal working fluids, oils, lubricants, and other in-process fluids as well as a fluid management program.
