We have multiple recycling smelters throughout the country. Every part of a spent battery is recycled and reused to help keep the earth green. We chip the plastic and remelt to form new batteries. We recycle the electrolyte from the spent batteries by neutralizing it for it's use in soaps and other standard household products. The lead is then remelted and formed into plates for new batteries.
