Polymer Exchange, Inc. was established as an environmentally conscious company. Our specialty is the implementation of cost-effective and efficient post industrial thermoplastic recycling program. Our recycling program is dedicated to eliminating disposal of recyclable polymers that are currently being land filled in today's market place. We are dedicated to protecting the environment and eliminating land fill utilization that we feel is a short term solution to tomorrow's problems.

Mission Statement

Our objective is to provide an alternative resource to manufacturing companies that utilize plastic resins in their finished goods. Our goal is to develop long term relations by instituting a recycling program or evaluating a current program. Polymer Exchange's focus will be to offer one resource that can implement an alternative program and reduce disposal cost.

Services

We offer services in the identification, management, preparation, production, transportation and marketing of recyclable thermoplastics.

Equipment and Operation

Polymer Exchange owns and operates a variety of size reduction equipment at our Akron, Ohio facility which includes grinding, shredding, and baling capabilities.

Logistics

Our logistics capabilities are enhanced with a fleet of company trucks, in addition to a brokerage division that has over 400 transportation carriers under contract. We also have the capability to spot trailers at our customer's location to reduce inventory and storage cost.

Lines of Business

Our focus is to purchase surplus inventory, scrap parts, regrind, wide spec and obsolete inventory. Our business contacts have enabled us to develop relationships with customers that utilize secondary thermoplastics materials, which includes ABS, Acrylic, CPE, GPPS, HIPS, HDPE, LDPE, Nylon, PC, PE films, PP, PVC flex, PVC rigid, TPE, TPO, and TPU.

Polymer Exchange, Inc. is an active member of the Society of Plastics Engineers Recycling Division and the Akron Traffic Club.
