Herbold Dual Wash Line The system consists of two (4,500 pound/hour) cold water Herbold wash/grind lines. They share a single water treatment system which filters particulate (<250 micron) and recirculates the water for reuse. There is a 1,750 cu ft. (approx 45 K lbs. capacity) blending silo available as well. The company processed PE & PP post-consumer plastic containers and fed them into the line as whole bottle which pushed the rate/hour to about 3,500-3,800 lbs./hour each. The system was only in use for 22 months before being idled – 2017.
