A very good used portable Columbus McKinnon Tire Shredder that has been municipally owned and maintained since new. This machine is mounted on a single drop triple axle trailer and is powered by a Detroit Diesel engine that drives a 300KW-generator set. The shredder is powered by a 250 H.P. electric motor through a two-speed gearbox. This machine only has less than 4800 hours of actual operation on the machine since new. If you are looking for a portable Columbus McKinnon tire shredder you’d better give this one a hard look. The shredder will have all the knife seats checked out and any that are worn will be professionally repaired before it leaves our shop. The machine will have a brand new set of knives installed when it leaves our shop. We will refurbish the return drum and install new lifting paddles. Any other thing that we find that needs attention will be taken care of while we have it in our shop. This unit will have a 2” classifier that goes with the machine.
