The bricks are in very good condition. The inner layer was previously so it was not exposed to fire. 65x125x250 The construction of fireplaces and stoves requires different - in many cases special - materials: metals, refractory ceramics and, of course, non-refractory materials. If, on the other hand, the firebox is to be built, chamotte brick will be indispensable among the refractory materials. Chamotte brick (or chamotte board) is a high melting point brick, resistant to up to 1600 degrees Celsius, retains its shape even at extremely high temperatures.
