environmental solutions and wood recycling |
Message : |
We run several environmental projects in Africa. Recently, wood importers were forced to take very harsh and extreme measures by destroying their shipments of imported wood and WPM (Wood Packaging Material) because it didn’t meet ISPM15 regulation, which states that WPM must be treated by either heat or fumigation.
When the wood is not treated by either method, then authorities at the receiving port have no option but to destroy the shipment by either burning or introduce the shipment to Mr. Heavy Duty Wood Chipper.
I would like to know if there are any methods or system to use this wood after being chopped into much smaller pieces, and avoid from burning the wood and cause another Ecological problem.
Your assistance in this matter is greatly appreciate
