- Complete Tire recycling plant still new. We recently purchased a complete plant, which was originally manufactured in the USA by Granutech Saturn. Added to the purchase Granutech supplied SA Tyre with the Primary Shredder Model number Model 72-44BGHT. The plant has since been commissioned and is selling as a turnkey operation. We have had severe difficulties with the government whom have promised legislation to assist our company and with the implementation of levy’s, but to date done nothing on passenger and truck tyre’s has been implemented, hence the reason for us selling. Furthermore the needs for the raw crumb rubber end product is still in it’s infancy due to no-one producing in the past. The local market still need’s to be developed as has been done in many countries abroad. The equipment offered is all state of the art. I can forward you the assets lists if you are further interested. We want to sell the plant as a whole and not individually, the plant has cost us to date only in equipment USD $4 million and as such will not drop lower than $3,7 million. The equipment was sourced from the best manufacturers and top dollar was paid for the highest quality equipment. The plant is brand new, up and running. Ready, to be stripped, packed, transported and re-assembled. The recycling group that purchases this plant would not have to wait a delivery time from the manufacturers as all is ready to produce, thus the savings are tremendous.
