Beckman Coulter LS 5000 CE Liquid Scintillation System.
The Beckman Model 5000 CE Liquid Scintillation System is designed to provide highly accurate, automated counting of the level of radioactivity in radioactively-tagged samples. The instrument can perform several types of calculations on the data obtained from counting, as selected by the user. It is a bench top, microprocessor controlled specrometer for radionuclide measurement. And so on with the rest of the fancy scientific terms as stated in the manual (which is included but not shown). I figure if you are looking at this you already have an idea of what it can do and what it is for - probably even more than me.
